XRP Could Reach $10 Next Bull Cycle — Here Are The Catalysts One Expert Says Will Drive It

XRP is trading just above $1.10, more than 70% below its all-time high of $3.65, and struggling to hold support as the broader crypto market grinds through its current bear phase.

But when the focus shifts to the next bull cycle — expected to develop through 2027 — one analyst sees a path to $10. How realistic that target is depends almost entirely on one piece of legislation.

The Bull Run Framework For XRP

Writing for 24/7 Wall St., market expert Sam Daodu first built his case around the rhythm that has historically driven crypto markets. The expert claimed that, if Bitcoin’s (BTC) Halving cycle holds to its historical pattern, it points to a cycle bottom in late 2026 — somewhere between $50,000 and $55,000 — with a bull market building through 2027 before the next Halving in 2028.

Crucially, the Federal Reserve’s (Fed) rate cut expectations now appear to align with that same window, with most projections pointing to cuts beginning in late 2026. That combination, Daodu argued, could be the setup for the next significant bull run.

For XRP specifically, the expert said the most important factor is not Bitcoin’s cycle or Fed policy — it is the CLARITY Act. The bill would codify XRP’s status as a commodity under US law.

Following the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) decision last year, the altcoin is already treated as a commodity. However, that ruling could theoretically be reversed by a future administration.

In his report, the expert asserted that this legal uncertainty has kept major institutional investors, such as pension funds and asset managers, on the sidelines. Permanent legislative clarity would bring them in.

The vehicle for that institutional money is XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which currently hold approximately $1.48 billion. Two major banks have projected that figure could grow to between $4 and $8 billion in the first year after the CLARITY Act passes.

Three Scenarios For The Next Cycle

Daodu laid out three scenarios for where XRP goes in the next cycle. If the CLARITY Act stalls, the institutional money never arrives, the ETF projections go unfulfilled, and XRP likely trades between $1 and $2 through the entire cycle.

If the bill passes and ETF inflows build at a steady pace, XRP could recover toward its previous highs in a range of $3 to $5, which is where most 2027 analyst forecasts already cluster.

For the $7 to $10 scenario to play out, Daodu said the bill would need to pass, institutional demand would need to convert quickly, the full $4 to $8 billion in ETF money would need to arrive, and Fed rate cuts would need to reignite risk appetite — all in the same window.
