Dogecoin (DOGE) Monthly Chart Says Buy β€” Analyst Says the Upside Target Is $0.45

Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 2.5% on Tuesday to trade at $0.073, recovering from a near three-year low of $0.068 reached last week. The bounce arrived alongside a technical signal on the monthly chart that analyst Ali Martinez described as a potential setup for one of the most significant DOGE rallies in years.

DOGE’s Bull Case Is $0.45Β

In a social media post on X, Martinez flagged the TD Sequential β€” a momentum indicator that counts price bars to identify potential trend exhaustion and reversals β€” flashing a buy signal on Dogecoin’s monthly chart.Β

A confirmed buy signal at this level, Martinez said, sets up a move toward $0.16 as the initial target β€” a gain of approximately 119% from current prices.Β

The broader upside target sits near the top of the channel at $0.45, which would represent a rally of roughly 516% from Sunday’s price of $0.073 and would bring Dogecoin back to levels last seen during the early stages of the 2024 bull market.

Not every analyst shares that near-term optimism. A separate technical analysis suggests Dogecoin’s current cycle β€” identified as Cycle 4 β€” has not yet reached its bottom.Β

The four-year support zone, whose upper boundary sits around $0.058, remains the key downside level to watch. Last week’s drop to $0.068 brought Dogecoin closer to that zone than it has been in years β€” and if the recent recovery fades, a sharper decline toward that support cannot be ruled out before any sustained rebound begins.

A cycle score indicator used in that analysis has historically needed to enter its buy zone before a meaningful bottom is confirmed β€” and it has not done so yet. The message from that is that more short-term pain may be ahead before the longer-term setup plays out.

Dogecoin Has a $2 Target for 2028Β

On the longer-term picture, however, the same analysis points to significant upside. Dogecoin is currently in what analysts describe as the second part of its Super Cycle 2 β€” a multi-year pattern where the strongest rally historically occurs in this specific phase.Β

Once at least 1,000 days have passed from the Cycle 3 top, the model projects a final parabolic rally that, based on previous cycle behavior, should reach at least the 0.618 Fibonacci level of its long-term channel.Β

By mid-2028, that projection places Dogecoin at approximately $2 β€” a level that would represent a gain of more than 2,600% from current prices and a new all-time high by a significant margin.

Shiba Inu, Dogecoin’s closest competitor in the memecoin sector, has been outperforming this week. SHIB gained 24% over the past seven days according to CoinGecko data β€” a move that outpaced both Dogecoin and every token in the top ten by market cap.Β Despite that surge, SHIB remains 93% below its all-time high. Dogecoin sits 90% below its own peak of $0.73, reached in May 2021.Β
